This weekend I felt like what Ms. Bodega likes to call, VERY snap happy! After a busy and exhausting week, I hung out and enjoyed Crooklyn! I'm not the best at taking flicks or going out all the time, but since I bought a new camera I've really been able to look at Crooklyn from truly another view. I took flicks of friends and "new friends" of Crooklyn Chronicles and I shared interesting conversations, ran into people I did and didn't want to see... All in all taking in the air and enjoying the weekend was amazing. Love u Taneka and Sacchi!!!!!...
Guess what?!, You can all catch me at Not Just Vintage on Sundays helping the ladies out! My first Sunday there was amazing, Lamonica is hilarious and so creative! And Maya the funny business women with the adorable chuckle is just too cute. Shout out to Not Just Vintage customers who are very stylish and sweet. Another shout out to Lenyice and Zakiya at Bushbaby, Al aka Minority Reporter for stopping by and letting us finally figure out what camera he really has! Miriah from San Francisco and her dope ducktape wallet creation. My girl Shantelle aka Ladybug over at Harriet's, Melissa S. from Yume:) and Suzanne from

Crooklyn Swagger/Style Files (Pt. 1)
What does Crooklyn mean to you?
Brooklyn to me feels like the world.I think its one of the most diverse boroughs throughout new york.
What's your goal?
To be an entertainer to all audiences from fashion to music and even magazine editorials. Somehow I want my presence & talents to be groundbreaking.
What's playing in your ipod? Fuck Me Pumps by Amy Winehouse.
What's this Melissa London Buzz about?
Hmmm.. whats my Buzz lol? well I'm an aspiring rapper/performer. I love everything about music fashion and fame. Please do not confuse it with greed. What sets me aside from the ordinary people in the game now a days is that(..drumrolls please...) Im a transexual female meaning I was born one gender now living my life as the opposite. For further details use your imagination, lol.So therefore I feel like there's not many like me out here doing their thing.
When is your music coming out??
By August of 2008 my mixtape will all ready be out on the streets to purchase.

Daddies:)
I must say that I am fortunate to have a Daddy still around and married to my mommy because we all now that saying "Mama's baby, Papa's mayb'e...." and in my case I'm both their baby. Now you know I had to put up a picture of Crooklyn's favorite girl Troy and her fictional Daddy in the classic spike joint perfectly titled "CROOKLYN"(of course!) This film has profoundly changed the perception of the father figure and the black family! So, salute to all father's today, unfortunately there is not a lot around but there is indeed some still standing.
